long overdue...

blog entry. It's been crazy busy around here!! My Halloween mix button embellishments were featured on Ali Edwards' blog --how cool is that?? They (as well as other items) flew off the shelves thanks to my cool customers! I was so excited and still so excited that people love the things I create!! I'm so excited to share too that my manager at work has created 3 part time positions after I went to talk to her about wanting a part time line so that I can have more time for my Etsy shop. She was so crazy understanding-it was awesome! So the position is 'ability to speak Chinese' preferred and intentionally created with me and 2 other girls from work in mind. I've got the least seniority so we'll see if someone from another health unit decides to come and steal one position. I've got my fingers crossed. I can't believe that this dream is almost coming true and it's really only been 6 months since I started dreaming it! But time flies. I'm kinda hoping for the 0.5 part time line now because 0.75 still sounds like too much time at workwork. I applied for all 3 positions so we'll see.

So I know it's a little early for Christmas but I really wanted to make this before i moved on to my Craft Fair projects so here it is...

My vintage christmas art journal kit! Check it out here. It features vintage papers, Scenic Route papers (my fave), sewn fabric page, machine sewn (by me) paper pocket, handcut felt pages and more. It also comes with cute little extras like a pack of my Christmas assorted mix flower buttons (only available in this kit) and circle numbers from 1-31 for the days of December. I'm excited to start filling mine up with photos and words as soon as December hits!

Ali Edwards will be giving away 2 of these on her blog tomorrow so don't forget to stop by there.

I've added more Halloween mix button embellishments and there's a few more sets left. This is probably my last batch so go grab them if you haven't already.

I've really gotta get going with the items for the craft fairs that i'll be attending. Here's where I'll be in November so if you would like to stop by to say hi or pick up a few Christmas gifts...

-November 20, 21 & 22, Jingle Bell Shop Craft Show, 236 Copsefield Drive, Tsawwassen, BC (VISA and MC accepted here only!)
-November 29, Parkgate Community Centre, 3625 Banff Crt,
North Van, BC

Have a good day! xo, eve
