an iphone photo moment

Enjoying every moment and hanging on just a little longer cause my newborn won't stay like this forever. She's already looking a lot bigger than when we first met her 3 weeks ago. The little onesies that we had her in while in hospital fit like muscle tees now lol! These last 3 weeks have just flown by despite all the postpartum wonderfuls :P. Overall, we're really grateful we have a fairly good baby. She sleeps quite a bit. I'd have to set my internal clock to wake up in the middle of the night to nurse her. She's only been up half the night about 3-4 times since we brought her home.

PS shop is still temporarily closed. I just haven't had a chance to "close doors" on my bigcartel shop because she arrived on the day that I was supposed to do that.

Looks like I have to close shop for a little longer than I wanted to - more on that soon in the next few days. That means next shop update won't be until shop reopens.

You're right to cherish this time. I still clearly remember those first few weeks and, in partiular, one midnight rocking session when my son wasn't hungry or wet or fussy but simply gazed into my eyes and watched me while I talked and rocked - just the two of us alone while the rest of the world (it seemed) slept. Seems like it was yesterday but it was 31 years ago. My baby boy now has a 3-year-old daughter and a second daughter due mid-November. So enjoy and cherish every one of these once-in-her-life minutes with your precious daughter. You both deserve it!

Enjoy the time, it goes quick.

As for the shop, everyone will understand. Looking forward to you creating again, but can appreciate you want to be with your little bundle.

Enjoy

My son is 4 years old and my daughter is 15 months old now so I was there a while ago.Sometimes tired, sometimes sleepy, but definately amazed by your tiny little baby!
Live every tiny bit of this new life because babies grow up really fast!

I agree with the others! They grow up sooooo fast and what a mix of emotions that brings. Take your time- no one is going anywhere. You won't regret the extra time you took but you. I have 5 and it will never be this slow and peaceful again. :)
