an iphone photo moment

Enjoying every moment and hanging on just a little longer cause my newborn won't stay like this forever. She's already looking a lot bigger than when we first met her 3 weeks ago. The little onesies that we had her in while in hospital fit like muscle tees now lol! These last 3 weeks have just flown by despite all the postpartum wonderfuls :P. Overall, we're really grateful we have a fairly good baby. She sleeps quite a bit. I'd have to set my internal clock to wake up in the middle of the night to nurse her. She's only been up half the night about 3-4 times since we brought her home.

PS shop is still temporarily closed. I just haven't had a chance to "close doors" on my bigcartel shop because she arrived on the day that I was supposed to do that.

Looks like I have to close shop for a little longer than I wanted to - more on that soon in the next few days. That means next shop update won't be until shop reopens.

"my mommy is My Chi, my doggy is Mylo & I'm Myelle"

We got her name while we were watching the Olympics and Maelle Ricker won the snowboard cross gold medal. Eddie & I both thought it was so fitting for our family of "My"s. We just had to change the spelling a bit. Her name is French (also perfect for her because she's part French) for princess. Oh, I love the name Elle too :) - Eddie says it also suits her cause she's also part Scandinavian.

Wall art is made of an 18"x 24" primed canvas, butterfly paper shapes traced from Scenic Route chipboard butterfly and cut out & rhinestones. The writing along the bottom of the canvas was done using a graphite pencil. I smudged her name a bit when I was putting the crown on her name - oops (handmade by mom).

our sweet pea photo shoot

Me & Eddie had the lovely Rae Clevett pay us a visit yesterday late afternoon to do a photo shoot of Myelle. Her style is so fun & rates were so affordable, I couldn't resist :) This was the sneak peek she had up yesterday on her blog. Can't wait to see the rest. Will post more when we get the CD.

She's Here!

Hi everyone! Thought you might be wondering what's going on since long time no post. On Monday May 31st (our wedding anniversary), we spent it counting contractions. Got admitted to hospital on June 1st and was already 8cm dilated!!! She was born at 1852hrs after 3 hard hours of pushing and the help of forceps. The nurses/doctors who looked after us were amazing! Weighing in at 8lbs 1 oz (amazingly even though I ate like a pig - but she's 1wk1d early), I present to you our precious daughter Myelle Lien Johnson.
