you lift me up

I admit there are days when I have a lot of doubts about this little company of mine. There are ups and there are downs. I get into phases where I wonder where I'm going to get the creative juices to carry on - to create more new shop items, to come up with more new ideas. But then ideas somehow emerge and things look a little brighter. Then there's also the slow sales periods which also makes me wonder if all my efforts in this shop are worthwhile. But having been through a few 12 month periods of business has given me hope that there will be periods where sales are high after periods when sales are low. And now there's munchkin added in the picture also. Where am I going to find the time? It's not too bad right now but as soon as mat leave from the other job is over, it'll be a different story. There's been times where I've openly admit to Eddie that I might think of closing shop in the near future. These thoughts have always left me feeling very sad. But as soon as I get an email such as the one above from a customer, it just makes my heart melt a little and my creative spirits soaring high enough to make lots more pretty things.
So thank you for occasionally knowing that I need these emails and for sending them to me:). I really appreciate them. Big hugs to you!

I totally understand. Adding little munchkin/s makes it 10X harder than those who run their little shops sans.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

Those emails, comments, Fb messages, they make my day. Makes me want to NEVER quit.

I hope you keep doing what you love!

I feel your creativeness is something to be admired especially now with your little cutie! I love your albums. When you brought out your 'Grateful' album, I purchased one and tucked it away. Two or three years ago, my adopted sister had a brain aneurysm. Here she was in NS and I in ON and she meant the world to me. She came out of the whole ordeal great and is leading a normal life once again. When Christmas came that year, I pulled out that kit and made it for her. At Christmas, she opened it at my parent's place and it became the gift of the year.
So at the end of all of this, I do have a point!!! Your work is gorgeous and I look forward to reading your blog, watching your QT-pa-2T grow, and perusing through your Shoppe. I hope you can find time to continue on!
