Insta-cakecoma | Inspiration

Hello all! Wendy here to share up a Project Life ™inspired layout for you.  I'm using a ~7"x8" format and working gradually to add more layouts into my smaller album.  The smaller album format works for me in my busy happenings.  I'm loving this approach and it's my goal to really be more into documenting the everyday now that I'm married because I'm really enjoying these moments together.  Even if not in so many words but photos alone, just getting the photos and moments onto paper.

I enjoy mixing it up (as you can see in my previous post here) and for this layout I reached back to older photos from the year or so past.  Go ahead, give yourself permission to mix it up....document out of order and just re-live the moment.  Many times I'll create it up with the same photos more than once.  I'm guilty and it's ok.

In this layout, I used birthday photos of my husband from 2013.  They seriously crack me up as he had a stomach full from dinner at home and then there was THE cake.  Well, being the comic that he is, he 'staged' a shot where he was head first into the cake and afterwards, the cake coma face. Yes, such a comic.  I had a laugh or two while creating this layout (and I confess he had a good laugh in remembering this moment too). Ha!

I used the 'cheers to a new year' from Hello 2014 Snip Snip Page Tabs along with wood veneer numbers.  Then I added a sprinkling of ink along with a mini triangle stamp from Photo Shoot Clear Stamp Set and fun puffy stars from Miscellany Shapes Puffy Stickers.  Just the right touch of festive fun for a birthday, yes!

I added the 'note this' badge from Field Notes v1 Badge Buttons.  The 'say cheese' tab is from Photo Shoot SnipSnip Page Tabs.

Did you know the Evalicious labels are perfect for layering too? I used the music note label from Love You Lots SnipSnip Labels.  Then, a sweet touch on texture with a wood veneer shape 'Fig. 1' from Field Notes Wood Veneer and more mini triangles and puffy stickers too.

For my title, I explored a fun twist by mixing stamps (#insta) and the new Evalicious Ledger Paper Alpha Stickers.  The grid effect on the puffy stickers are clean and versatile.  Then, a bit more stamping on the title as 'life documented' from the Field Notes Clear Stamp Set.

I hope you enjoyed my project!
