Blessed | Inspiration

Hello all, today I have another rainbow colour layout to share with you here. I seriously cannot imagine my crafting life without rainbow colours. I have tried making monochrome / black & white pages but it just doesn't work for me. I just have to add splashes of rainbow everywhere in my life, from scrapbooking pages to planners to my room decoration.

As usual, I am scrapping one of my son's daily photo. I try to take at least of photo of him when I pick him up from montessori everyday. He likes to stay around for five to ten minutes after school to play with a yellow toy car. This photo of him inspires me to stamp the car images from Shop Evalicious to make it  focal point for this scrapooking page.

I stamped the car image in with various chalk ink just below the photo.

I also love how the badge draw your eyes to the photo.

I also stamp some car images on card stock and fussy cut them out to add foam dots to pop it up on the layout. Stamping multiple image is so fun and therapeutic! Thank for dropping by and have a nice day.

Xoxo,
Sam

Love You A Bushel & A Peck | Inspiration

Hello everyone! Today I am gonna share a layout that I scrap lift one of my older layouts that I did 2 years ago. Here's the blog post that I blog about the layout and its fun to see how my style progress over the years - it has definitely became more minimalist nowadays - maybe thats because I have more things going on in my life, and layouts and scrapbook pages are the places where I could keep it simple and minimalist.

I used the Hello 2014 large tags to mat the three pictures on the left. love that these tags are perfect for my square pictures of 2.5'x2.5'. I also used one full sheet of Snip Snip label to create the tags on the right and stitched them down with sewing machine.

I added some puffy stickers to create some interest around the pictures too.

I think this is my favourite layout that I have created recently. It's quick and simple, yet it looks kinda complicated ;) Thanks for dropping by and I  hope you are inspired to create a tag / label layout too!

Xoxo,
Sam

HE Said… | Inspiration

Hello lovelies! Today I have a love-themed layout to share with you since February is the <3 month. I decided not to pressurise myself with making Project Life pages this year, so I focus more on scrapping 12x12 layouts and mini albums. Sometimes I also do some art journaling when inspiration strikes.

Here's a layout that I doodles some hearts on a piece of white card stock using Neocolors, then decorate each little doodled heart with puffy stickers and stamps. I am obsessed with all the Shop Evalicious puffy stickers and have you seen those new arrivals that are gonna be in the shop in March / April?

This basically is how my little one give me buggies everyday so I use this banner stamp to mark the day. In love with this stamp and I think it is perfect to be used in planner pages too.

My little one just started babbling and talking recently so this He Said stamp is gonna be a stamp that I will use very frequently now.

Thanks for dropping by. I hope you have fun and receive a lot of love in the month of LOVE <3

You Make Me Smile | Inspiration

20150126-IMG_5280_Evalicious_CN

Hello Evalicious fans!  Christine here with a layout celebrating love!  Valentine’s Day is coming up and I can’t help but use a bunch of reds and pinks on my layout.

These photos are actually from Thanksgiving Day. We went to the beach after having our Thanksgiving meal.  Since I have six 2-inch photos, I divided my page into thirds.  I adhered three patterned papers down and used my sewing machine to sew a border around the edge with red thread. Then I adhered a piece of vellum in the middle as a backdrop for my six photos.

I cut a strip of paper and adhered it to the top of the layout. Then I used a blue banner from Hello 2014 Miscellany V1 Puffy Stickers. I stamped a banner from Daily Life Clear Stamp Set and stamped the “You Make Me Smile” sentiment in pink inside the banner. Then I cut it out and adhered it with foam adhesive.

I used a wood veneer banner from Field Notes Wood Veneer on the bottom of my layout to mimic the banner on top. I added my journaling and also added some Ledger Alphas Puffy Stickers to spell out “Me & You” on the bottom strip of paper.

I stapled a clip from Arrow Love Shape Clips to the lower right of my vellum. I love how that turned out!

Photo Love | Inspiration

20150118-IMG_5237_Evalicious_CN

Hi Everyone!  Christine here to share with you a layout I made using some simple watercoloring and Evalicious goodies! I’m actually not a seasoned mix-media person, but I found it really fun to play with some watercolors and a stencil. I created the top and bottom of my layout using watercolors first.  Then I let it dry for a bit before I created the rest of my layout.

20150118-IMG_5240_Evalicious_CN

I used the Photo Shoot Clear Stamp Set to create a stamped background behind my photo.  I used colors that coordinated with my watercolored background and just stamped one design at a time around the background of my page. I used the Ledger Alphas Puffy Stickers to create my title.  I used a journal card from Photo Shoot Large Tags to back up from photo, cutting a slit underneath the “Snapshot of us” graphic to slide my photo in.

20150118-IMG_5227_Evalicious_CN

I colored this wood veneer from Photo Shoot Wood Veneer with a Sharpie glitter paint pen in blue.  I really like coloring wood veneers with glitter paint pens!

20150118-IMG_5226_Evalicious_CN

I topped the photo with another wood veneer and stamped “LOVE” on the bottom of my photo. It gave it just the finishing touch that I was looking for!
