Hello there, Evalicious fans!  Christine here today to show you a layout I created using mainly stamping as my background. 

I started with a white cardstock background and drew some horizontal lines in pencil with my t-square ruler.

Then I picked out some Evalicious stamps and stamped in alternating colors across each line. 

When I was done, I had a colorful stamped background for my layout.  I added some paper strips in matching colors across the top and bottom of my layout to anchor and balance.

I filled in the “Date / Place” stamped images with the information from our trip.  On our trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, we celebrated my birthday with lunch at the Four Seasons.

I added some paper and embellishments around my photo to make it stand out from the stamped background.

I love how the stamped background turned out!

Try stamping a background next time you make a layout!  Evalicious has lots of travel and everyday stamps that are just perfect for this purpose.

Project Life Catch-up | Inspiration

Hello there! This is Rachel today to share with you my Project Life progress.

For a record, I have several gaps in my past 2 years of Project Life that I have yet documented. My year 2013 is closing up well, 2014 has 2 huge gaps to fill, well this year I’m staying current (Yay!). :D And for this blog post, it’s all about 2 weeks worth of memories recorded from 2013.

It was a fast and fun morning session of Project Life-ing after I sent my boys out of the house. After printing out the photos and pasting them down on the respective PL cards, I did some stamping with Evalicious’s stamp sets and embellished with lots of puffy stickers as well as wood veneers. The page tabs and labels are prefect for the added layering.

I hope you like what you’re seeing here. If you too are a Project Lifer, on with more life documenting! Simplicity is my way of doing catch-up and being stress free. *WINK*

Heart You | Inspiration

Hiya! It is me, Rachel, to share with you a quick and easy gift tag for your loved ones. :)

I went through my stash and pulled out some papers, many of which I could not recall what brands they are from already but are just prefect for a love theme project. And with some cardstock stickers, ribbons, sequins and tissue paper (which I cut a strip off the bouquet of flower my husband got for me on our wedding anniversary), everything was do together with some machine stitching, adhesive glue and 3D foam dots. Ta-dah, I created a nice gift tag!

And to give it a finishing touch, puffy stickers were added, together with some heart stamping. Prefect! Oh have I ever told you before that I couldn’t resist the gold and the puffy stickers from Evalicious? I am totally in love with these pretties!
