Project Life 2015 Week 21 & 22 | Inspiration

Hello! Today is Rachel here to share with you my number fourteen project using plenty of Evalicious goodness. Time waits for no one, it moves extremely fast when we are having a great time. So here I am, documenting another 2 weeks of my life that evolves around my little family.

In these 2 Project Life spreads, plenty of wood veneers were used that created the extra popup dimensional effect. And of course, how can I miss out the puffy stickers? If you have yet snagged any of those gold series puffy stickers, please do so because they work very well in most color combination and give that extra bling to your project!

If you even wondered how I got around having the Project Life card images printed out onto photo paper alongside with my photo images, it was actually the Project Life App that did the magic. In the App itself, open up a fresh 4x6 (or a square) photo layout, select the ideal photo layout that consists of various segments, then input your photo image as well as a wide selection of life card designs into the individual segments to form the final photo before saving it into your smart phone as a photo image which you can upload to your printer for printing.

If my above explanation ever confused you, drop me your question and I will do my best to sort it right. ;p Thank you for looking and thanks for joining me on my creative journey!

Love
Rach

Sending Love with Pocket Letter | Inspiration

Hi there! This is Rachel here to share with you another spread of pocket letter that was stuffed with lots of love and goodies for a lovely friend I adore.

Similar to my FIRST Pocket Letter I created and blogged about a few weeks ago, I filled each and every pocket of a 9 pockets trading card protector with pattern papers, cut-outs, sequins, wood veneers, badge buttons, sticky notes and more. Plenty of pretty Evalicious goodies used in this little gift.

Top row (from left to right):
Left pocket – slotted in some cute vintage camper vellum cut-outs, coupled with pretty pastel sequins and star shape wood veneer. The opening was temporarily sealed off with washi tapes to prevent the bits and pieces from falling out.
Middle pocket – pocketed a few jars of fruity delights and one of my favorite speech bubble cut-outs.
Right pocket – a fun card with the words ‘Life is …’ and I completed the quote with some alphas puffy stickers. Oh yah, Life is SWEET.

Middle row (from left to right):
Left pocket – a card where I gave a personal touch with some puffy stickers.
Middle pocket – some positive vibes for my dear friend, to have happy thoughts on a daily basis. How I love the puffy flowers!
Right pocket – I hope she’ll squeak with joy to receive these cute stamped coffee cups cut-outs, knowing her to be a coffee lover.

Bottom row (from left to right):
Left pocket - the pocket where I wrote a little letter and tucked it in at the back. I included a hand drew envelope, stamped on words and added a puffy heart shape sticker before clipping it on with a felt smiley star paperclip I made it myself. Plus the wood veneer was prefect – Follow Your Heart!
Middle pocket – popped in a few Evalicious badge buttons and some labels and page tags. I found this cute pink typewriter, stamped on it and clipped it onto the pocket.
Right pocket – filled it up with cute sticky notes.

There, another happy pocket letter done and ready to make its trip to a lovely lady!

xx

Fun with Pocket Letter | Inspiration

Hello! This is Rachel here with you today to share on a creative and fun project I recently embarked on. The Pocket Letter!

Some of you may have heard or came across this Pocket Letter thingy on the internet that had set a new wave of excitement in the crafting and pen palling world. Or you yourself are making Pocket Letters and had sent many off to your Pocket Letter Pals. Well hey, I completed my very FIRST Pocket Letter and I wanted to show you just what I had put together and allow me to say this, it was SOOO FUN!!

With a 9 pockets trading card protector, I filled each and every pocket with pretty papers and stuffs I wanted to send to my Pocket Letter Pal. Nice little things such as washi tapes, labels, sticky notes, paper clips and most importantly a handwritten letter to my Pocket Letter Pal and tucked it in one of the pocket. Let me take you through each pocket and show you all the yummy Evalicious goodies I had included for a lovely lady I got to know from the awesome planner community!

Top row (from left to right):
Left pocket - filled it up with a couple of Evalicious fun labels and clipped the pocket closed with a handmade faux leather paper clip.
Middle pocket - used a vellum as a base card and threw in a handful of sequins and confetti. I then sealed the pocket with washi tapes and clipped on a cute speech bubble.
Right pocket – filled it with printable, die-cuts and stamped images. Again I used a cute paper clip from Evalicious to close the pocket in order to prevent anything from falling out.

Middle row (from left to right):
Left pocket – tucked in some washi tape samples.
Middle pocket – it is the main card decorated with my letter pal’s name with Evalicious alphas and nice puffy stickers.
Right pocket – I hand drew an envelope which I clipped it down with Evalicious’s round arrow paper clip. This is the pocket where my letter was slotted in at the back.

Bottom row (from left to right):
Left pocket – filled it up with cute sticky notes.
Middle pocket – stuffed in a few Evalicious badge buttons and DIY-ed a paper clip with one of them. I included 2 little charms too.
Right pocket – this got to be my most favorite pocket out of the rest. I stamped a few images of the adorable bubble tea from Evalicious latest collection - Addicted To You stamp set on random stash of pattern papers and fussy cut them. One of the bubble tea images was pasted on to the base card and I add-on a touch of watercolour to spice it up. CUTE! The extra bubble tea cut-outs were tucked in to the pocket and I really hope that my lovely friend will find them useful.

After this first session of Pocket Letter making, I’m very sure I’ll create many more of them! As for this set of Pocket Letter, it was packed nicely and ready to fly across the big blue ocean to my sweet friend who’s on the other side of the globe!

I hope you enjoyed what I shared with you, and thank you so much for stopping by!

Love
Rach
