Inspiration | This Happened

Hi there!

Laura here and I am sad to say that my term on the Evalicious DT is over, I had so much fun designing with Eve's fabulous products, it was truly a blessing to be on the team!

But, before I go, I have one last project to share.

This photo was taken a week after we got our new car, while driving down the highway we were hit by a flying wheel that came off of another car going the opposite direction.  Thankfully, everyone in both vehicles was fine.

The story needed to be documented.

Here are a few close up shots....

I stamped this little journaling tag and layered it with patterned paper, a puffy sticker and clip from Evalicious and some MME enamel dots.

This sweet camera was stamped in Stazon onto acrylic (recycled packaging).

Tab, badge buttons, large tags, puffy sticker and the car stamped onto vellum are all from Evalicious.

Small arrow tab and geo tag puffy sticker are Evalicious.

On a funny note, the masking detail with the black ink reminds me a little of the tread marks that were all over our car.  Ha!

Evalicious product list:
Badge Buttons - Just Us V2Everyday V1, Everyday V2
Puffy Stickers - Hello 2014 Miscellany V1, Hello 2014 Miscellany V2, Talk to Me,  Itinerary v1
Paper Clip - round arrow clip
Stamps - Road Trip, Photo Op, Label it
Tags - Hello 2014 large tags, Real Life snipsnip 3x4 tags, Hello 2014 snipsnip page tabs, Just Us snipsnip page tabs, Everyday snipsnip labels

Thank you so much for visiting today and thank you Eve for having me!

SneakerGirl | Inspiration

Hey Y'all! Mandy here again today with another new project to share.
I had a basic simple design in mind when I started creating this layout. I wanted to stick with just a few colors and I made a I searched through my Evalicious products I pulled all those colors that fell into the the scheme. I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out.

Here's a tip I figures out when I was creating I had this label "Currently Life Right Now" and it didn't fit my layout so I covered the "ly Life Right" part with the "Story" Badge.

I used the puffy stickers, labels, and paperclips as part of my long large journaling. The mix keeps your eye moving throughout the layout.

Hello Summer | Inspiration

Hey everyone! Mandy here to share a new project with you today.

One thing I really love about Evalicious products is no matter how old or new the paper you're creating with is the product still works, it's like that little black dress. On this layout I used old Sassafras Lass pattern paper with the following Evalicious products Hello 2014 badge buttons v2, just us badge buttons v2, just us misc. puffy stickers v1, and real life snipsnip labels.

The layout looks like it has a lot of layers and dimension but it doesn't, it's the Sassafras Lass paper. One of my favorite ways to add layers to a layout is by put snipsnip labels under photos.

I added the badges at the top of the layout and the bottom of the layout after I distress and folded the edge of the pattern paper over a bit. love the way it looks and it was a great touch to finish off my layout.

Thanks for joining me today!

InstaFamily | Inspiration

Hello All!

Wendy here on this Friday!  'Snapping' up the week and 'clicking' for the weekend with a layout inspired by the camera stamps and camera puffy stickers by Evalicious.

I will admit the camera icons of Evalicious have always been a fav in my stash.  When I find a product I love, sometimes I hoard them big time as if they will no longer be in existence. Truth. Ha!

For this layout, I used a variety of camera images to play on my title, 'InstaFamily'.  I LOVE this photo with my fiancĂ© and the kiddos....it represents SO much...universal bonding, limitless connection, and pure love.  I went to visit them for the 'first time' meeting in Feb this year and it was amazinggggg!  Such adorable & handsome boys, yes.  It was our first photo together as a family besides the Skype interaction.  Good times captured here 'behind the lens'.

I chose a pattern paper of coordinating cameras and used it along with the perfect little Camera Love Puffy Stickers and Photo Op camera stamp.  I've said it before BUT how fun are those puffy stickers?!  I have a little addiction to them.

I chose to add a touch of mixed media love with Neocolors in green, white gesso + watercolors, and hand stitching.  Fun!

I used the Everyday SnipSnip label 'together' to type a touch of journaling.  Those labels are perfect for use with your vintage typewriters.  Instant journaling, done!

Then, I used a badge button from Hello 2014 V2 as a sweet finishing touch at the bottom of my layout.

Evalicious Product Used:
Badge Buttons | Hello 2014 V2 ('us')
Stickers | Camera Love Puffy Stickers ('123 cheese' arrow, mini cameras)
Stamps | Week in the Life Prompts ('this week' stamp), Photo Op (camera image), Fill in the Banner ('life')
Labels | Real Life SnipSnip ('currently life right now'), Love You Lots SnipSnip ('note'), Everyday SnipSnip ('together')

The full supply list is posted up over on my blog.

Sunshiney Day | Inspiration

Hey Everyone! Mandy bringing you some Sunshiney Spring inspiration in the form of an 8.5x11 layout.

To create this layout I grabbed my Evalicious drawer from my cart and my scrap paper bin. The first thing I grabbed was that card I cut into a frame and it inspired me to think outside my box and have a bit of fun with this layout.

I'll be honest I'm not much of a stamper or mister it's just too messy for me but since joining the Evalicious team and getting all the fabulous stamps I am using stamps more often on my pages now. In this detail shot you can see I used 2 label stamps but the lower one I stamped wrong so what was I going to do? Instead of starting over I cut a piece of coordinating paper in a labelish shape and tucked in. I love that it adds one more layer to my layout.

Layers! I probably sound like a broken record with every post but it's my go to right now lots of layers and lots of foam adhesive squares. I used foam adhesive squares on the back of the frame.

More messiness and stamping. I love mixing the Evalicious arrow stamps with the Puffy embellishments. Spring colors, wonky journaling lines and paper cuts make this a fun bright layout.

Thanks for joining me today! Have a wonderful Tuesday!

breathe with Laura

Hi there!

Laura here today with a new project to share!  I had so much fun creating this page, it turned out a little different than I had anticipated but I love it more this way.  Originally my idea was to lay the elements out in a more linear fashion, but I ran out of room (that always happens to me) so I clustered up my journaling tags a bit more and it feels much more me this way.

I started by choosing a colourful array of journalling tags and pulled other elements in from my stash in the same scheme.  I wanted to keep some of the elements quiet to have my story as the focal point, so I used vellum as well.

I stamped some journal tags with one of the the Label It stamps, and trimmed them all out with scissors.

I used labels from the Love you Lots Snipsnip sheet, and the Real Life Snipsnip sheet and added the details of the day in snippets on all of these tags.

Then I set about embellishing, using some of the Miscellany V1 and V2 puffy stickers... I just love these!  And some School's In V3 badge buttons, as well as some Vintage Maps flair, you can never go wrong with flair.

And let's not forget this darling clip!

Wanna know a secret?  I totally thought the background paper was polka dots until I was finished! ha! What a nut!  Anyway, I love the colours, so it stays.  Don't focus and pretend you see polka dots too!

Thanks for visiting!  And don't forget to check back often to see what the rest of the team is up to!

this Gal | Inspiration

Hey Everyone! Mandy here today bringing you some 8.5x11 layout inspiration.

I used a mix of the various Evalicious collections that I will have linked and listed for you below. I started this layout with that photo from my birthday last year then I just started grabbing different bits and pieces not know where this layout was going.

I thought it would be cool to have the badges and puffy stickers be part of journaling about me and my life at age 31.

This photo shows how I added some layers and dimension with the Real Life Snipsnip 3x4 tags.  I cut the hello arrow with a craft knife and added a foam square underneath.

To give the journaling a little added pop and funky look I traced around the thickers and added some of my own scribbles.
I hope this layout has inspired you to grab your Evalicious products to use on a layout about you! I would love to see what y'all are creating so please link up in the comments!

Mr. Harmonica Man | Inspiration

Hi, Evalicious Fans! Mandy Koeppen here with an 8.5x11 layout that I hope inspires you to create with your Evalicious product this weekend!

This layout is really simple and quick to create. When I say quick like 30 minutes or less quick and we all love quick ? Of course!
My son has a love for the photo booth app on my phone and I have a love for photo strips so when I saw these photos I knew the Evalicious products would be a fun to use to document my Mr. Harmonica Man photos.
I love the journal cards and the images not them but I'm not a project lifer so I tend to use them on my layouts in different ways life this "Today's Story" tag from the Hello 2014 Large Tags Set . The card really didn't fit the way I wanted it to so I used my craft knife to cut around the arrow them tucked the photo strip into the cutout and added a foam square for dimension. I love the puffy No.1 sticker from the Hello 2014 Miscellany v2 Puffy Stickers but only wanted the circle to show so again I thought outside the box instead of cutting it I tucked it under the photo strips.

I think we all love Evalicious badges but I especially love the sayings and images on the Hello 2014 Badges v1. Adding badges to this layout was a great way to break up all those straight lines.

In this detail shot I wanted to show that page tabs don't have to be used just as tabs. I usually always cut them apart and use them in a different way like on this layout. The "Play" tab from the Hello 2014 Snipsnip Page Tabs I cut in half added some dimension with a foam square and then stapled it to the page.

I hope you've been inspired not only by the quick and simple but also to think of different ways to use your Evalicious products next time you use them.

Thanks for joining me today! Have a fabulous Friday!

It's All Your's | Inspiration

Hi, Everyone! Mandy Koeppen here with my first Evalicious design team creation. Today I'm going to share this fast and simple layout with you.

Right now I am a big fan of creating projects with lots of simple geometric shapes especially triangles, squares, and circles. So everything in the Evalicious Shop is right up my alley.

I love that layered look of the frames and the Real Life snipsnip labels & tabs. Even though the layering is flat(with the exception of the fabulous puffy sticker) it still gives the layout some dimension. The colors of the Real Life Collection work fab with this photo I captured of my husband looking out over our property the fall after we purchased it.
I really love how the frames and Evalicious product colors give that extra pop to the enlarged photo and dark background.

Meet Adrienne Alvis | Guest DT inspiration

My name is Adrienne Alvis and I live in a very small town in Southern Illinois (United States). My husband is a farmer and we live in the country with our three beautiful and spirited children. I have two boys (11 and 6 years) and one girl (4 years). My husband and I have been married for almost 8 years now and I'm lucky to be able to stay at home with my children and create.  I recently turned 31 on August 31st.  Other than scrapbooking, I like to run, ride my bike, read, snuggle with my kiddos, and take lots and lots of pictures of all of our everyday adventures.

I started scrapbooking about seven years ago and instantly fell in love!  At first, I only scrapbooked in my spare time as a hobby, but recently it has become a huge part of my everyday life.  I'm currently designing for Come On Get Crafty, Chic Tags, Lily Bee, Gossamer Blue, Scrapbook Circle, and Freckled Fawn.  You can find more of my work on my blog, Paper Fab, and on Instagram @adriennealvis.

Hello everyone!  I'm so excited to be guest designing here on the Evalicious blog this month!  Today I have my spread for Week 35 of my Project Life to share with you...

I've done a really good job of keeping up with this amazing project this year and haven't gotten behind yet.  I set aside a certain time every week just for doing my Project Life spreads.  This week was also a special one because I turned 31 on the 31st!

I used lots of goodies from the Escape collection on my spread, such as the 3x4 snipsnip labels, miscellany tags, and a few badge buttons...

I used two 3x4 photos of my boys on a bungee ride at our local fair, adhered them to a larger piece of card stock, and then sewed down the middle of them and through the "Look Here" Escape page tab so I could lift each side up and have a hidden journaling spot.

I stamped the large ampersat stamp onto a journaling card and then colored it in using some of my watercolor ink.

I also did the same to the "oh shoot" camera stamp below...

Supplies Used:  Escape Bundle, My Favorite Stamp Set, Ampersat and Ampersand Stamp Set, My Week snipsnip tags, Real Life snipsnip tags, Love You Lots snipsnip page tabs

I hope you enjoyed this little peek into my everyday life!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Big thank you to Adrienne for being a guest DT on this little blog.

While I'm not sure if I'm heading down the route of another design team, I'm definitely wanting some fresh projects on this blog. So what I did was approach some ladies and see if they were interested in being a guest DT. Are you interested in being a guest DT member? Here's how I've been looking...sometimes I go through my previous DT application list (how I found Adrienne:)). Sometimes I go by referrals to my site (meaning I check my shop and see who has been referring guests to my shop - my way of saying thank you). Happy Monday!

Spring layout | Inspiration

Hello there, Emmanuelle here sharing my last post for Evalicious. Here in Belgium, the weather has been terrible those last months and we are finally juste having something that we could call spring. So I made a spring layout with green as main color.
At first my layout was a bit too pale and simple so I decided to add some touched of black (spaltters, doodling and striped paper) to add more contrast. So when you feel that a layout isn't quite finished there is always a little something you can add to put the finishing touch.

Evalicious supplies:

As it is my last blog post over here, I would like to thank Eve who gave me my very first DT spot. It was an amazing experience and I enjoyed every minut! I can't wait to discover the next DT and all theur amazing projects.

Pool Day | Inspiration

I used to print photos as I scrapbooked, which was a big time waster.  I could spend way more time looking for the perfect memory than scrapbooking it and it kept me from making pages much of the time.  Now I do a little better and leave a stack of printed photos right on my table so I always have something ready.  I may still and search for a photo, but at least I can try the stack first.

But I was thrilled to have my stack ready when I ran across the Real Life Label Snipsnip Tags in my Evalicious stash.  Why I had not used any of the whole sheet, I don't know.  I love them!!  I had to use them.  So, what photo?  The top one in my stack.  Yay for being prepared!

This is a iPhone shot of me and the crew headed home from the first pool day of the year.  (My dear hubby was driving and not in the picture.)  It was the best day.  Nothing fancy.  Nothing out of the ordinary.  Just a regular day.  Real life!!!

I started with kraft cardstock, which is kind of boring to me, so then came the messy gesso.  To add some fun color I stitched with blue thread all the little lines through the gesso.  I got that I idea from Wilna, and I love it.

The I cut up the entire sheet of Real Life tags and layered them right over the stitching.  The colors are amazing and fun and perfect for our day.

Of course, I had to add in some badges because honestly, I love them.  How could I leave them off??

And that is real life for me.  What about you these days?

So besides the Real Life Label Snipsnip tags, I also used Real Life V2 Badges, Escape V3 Badges, and Colorful Days Badges.  I love it all!!
