Project Life 2015 Week 7 & 8 | Inspiration

Hey there! This is Rachel here to share with you another 2 weeks of my Project Life progress. I totally love how well Evalicious products complimented my weeks after weeks of Project Life-ing!

As expected, I completed my 2 weeks worth of Project Life real quick and during this round of documenting progress, I used badge buttons from Field Notes v1 and boy I love the popup effect! These buttons beautifully added a 3 dimensional feel to the flat cards yet at the same time didn’t give too much weigh and thickness after I slotted them into the pockets. ;)

I’ll let the photos do the talking and I hope you like what you’re seeing here. *WINK*

Thanks for looking!

Love,
Rach

So Happy Together | Inspiration

Hi everyone! Rachel here to share with you a card I have made for my wedding anniversary which falls on the 17th of this month. Perhaps this little project could give you some inspirations in preparing a few Valentine cards? *Wink*

It is a tradition of me making cards for the husband, basically one for our wedding anniversary, and one for his birthday. This annual practice of mine started out way back to the day when we started dating (for 6 years), tied the knot in 2003 and now to celebrate our 12 years of marriage. Come to think of it, I have known this guy for a good 2 decades. I’m blessed.

This is a 5”x6” single-fold card. The main focus of this card is the balloon-shaped cut-out which I trimmed from a 3”x4” pattern card from Photo Shoot Large Tags, and hand stitched around the edge with a pink sewing thread to give that extra texture.

With the intention of not turning this card into one that is too pinkish for a guy, I picked a mint color pattern paper, added some dimensional texture with texture paste and a heart shape stencil, sprinkled some white and pink mist, popped up most of the heart shape cut-outs with 3D foam dots, lastly pasted down the balloon cut-out and the So Happy Together circle tag from Photo Shoot Round Tags.

To give that finishing touch, pretty puffy stickers, page tab and sequins are the PREFECT elements to have.

I hope he will love this card, and happy 12 to us!

Thank you for stopping by. J

Love,
Rach

Inspiration | Today's Highlight

Hi there!

It's Laura here today sharing a new project with you all, featuring loads of Evalicious goodies! !

My youngest and I took turns snapping pictures while he, my husband and I were at a winery tour last summer.  We managed to grab quite a few great pictures so I wanted to try to incorporate several onto my page.

While there, I grabbed this winery tour map, knowing that I would want to incorporate it onto a layout one day.  Well today is "one day"!

I used labels from Just us snipsnip labels, Escape snipsnip labels, and Love You Lots snipsnip labels. A couple fo tags from the So Daily large tag set, and a page tab from the Hello 2014 set.  Badge buttons from the Everyday V1 and V2 set.  Puffy stickers from  Itinerary V1 , Itinerary V2, and Talk to Me set.  A sticker from the Everyday Miscellany Stickers .  And a Camera Love paper clip to adorn my page.

Here are some close up shots:

Road Trip | Inspiration

Hi there!

It's Laura here today with a new project to share!  I think this is the first layout that I have ever created without using any patterned papers I had so much fun using mists, masks and Evalicious stamps that I really didn't think that my page needed any.

I chose a label from Hello 2014 SnipSnip labels, every stamp in the Road Trip clear stamp set and one from My Favourite Stamp set, badge buttons from Just Us V2 and Vintage Maps, puffy stickers from  Itinerary V1 and Itinerary V2, and an Arrow Love paper clip. to adorn my page.

Here are some close up shots:

This layout is completely different for me, I haven't stamped this much on a page before, yet I had so much fun creating it! I have already created my next share and it is a little different, too!  What do you think of the lack of patterned paper?  I love this page but I am a paper lover, too!

Thanks for visiting!  And don't forget to pop back often to see what the rest of the team is up to!

Laura
